Lafarge
has installed in its three cement plants in Spain our product
CEFICARG
has been installed in the three cement plants which
LAFARGE has in
Spain: Villaluenga (Toledo) in 2004, Montcada y Reixac (Barcelona) in
2006 and Sagunto (Valencia) in 2007.
CEFICARG was
implemented in all our factories once we did it first in our
Villaluenga plant and after checking its fitness and satisfactory
performance, which has been an experience that the time has not ceased
to confirm.
Among others benefits, we´ve reached two main aims for
LAFARGE:
- To improve
the level service to our clients, due to CEFICARG gives
us the following advantages:
- Our clients can create their own purchase order without
need of going to the Commercial Office. They can load 24 hours per day,
7 days a week, without any hourly limit at all.
- The elapsed time in order to do the complete loading
cycle is drastically reduced
- To assure our
product quality. The complete loading process, totally
under automated control, ensures, without any error possibility, that
the quality of the load is the one that the client requires.
Besides all of above, internally,
CEFICARG ,
thanks to the stored information (purchase order creation, plant entry
time, loading process time…) has let us improve our own processes, to
the extent of taking benefit of some indicators for their application
in the maintenance area.
To sum up, our experience with
CEFISA and
its
CEFICARG
product has been frankly satisfactory.
